So what’s going on…
Well as expected the year has been busy although January seems like it has been here forever. I have been wanting to be able to ride my Vespa more but it’s just too cold in the morning to take it to work so I am looking forward to temps warming up a little so I can hit the road. Heck I’d really like it I had time after work to just explore the valley some and just ride, but alas too much work to do! Maybe I’ll try and make it happen soon just so I can de-romanticize it from my mind. I REALLY need to pick up a new Mac. If Apple would hurry up and release a new Mini, then that would get my purchase, if not might just hold out and pick up a Macbook. The main problem is feature creep. If i just go for the Macbook, then the Macbook Pro is far above...
The first 1000 miles…
Hit 1000 miles on the Vespa this morning. Very cool indeed hard to believe it’s only been 2 months I feel like I had it forever! On another note Andy and Heather are coming over tonight and the plan is to install some more home automation items and bluetooth in the car. should be fun. I’ll post updates on the whole home automation project soon.
Vespa Ride
So Aaron and I went for a ride this past Monday. We rode up Bouquet Canyon in Santa Clarita. If it wasn’t like 45 degrees when we went it would have been a perfect day. It was FREAKIN FREEZING! We had breakfast at IHOP then hit the road at about 7:15am After a ride up to the reservoir we went on a search for MarioKart for the Wii (I picked mine up the week before but Aaron wanted to get a copy) and after 2 Walmarts, Target, and Game Rush we were still with no Mario Kart so we called it a day. All in all a lot of fun riding around town. ...

Here’s some first shots of me and the Vespa @ Vespa Thousand Oaks. Went for a nice ride with Aaron yesterday and had a blast! Hopefully get a couple more chances to ride this weekend…
Vroom…Vrooooom
Well I was going to wait until tomorrow to post about it but I was just (thanks Grammar Mike!) too excited. Aaron purchased himself an awesome Vespa LX150. It’s beautiful, black with tan seat. He let me take it for a spin and I was hooked. Since I was about 12 I have always wanted a Vespa, kind of a secret wish. Well being the brother I am I couldn’t let Aaron ride alone… so I bought a Vespa Granturismo 200. It’s silver and a 2007. I get to pick it up tomorrow. Can’t wait! I’ll post up some pictures...
