Nothing more frustrating than this.

So something that is driving me nuts recently is that more isn’t being made of the fact that it is Democratic fiscal policy these last several years that has lead to the mess we are in. It was our Democratically controlled Congress that enabled legislation that caused these issues. It was the same Congress that could have enabled legislation to change it that instead turned a blind eye. It was this same Congress which actually has a lower approval rating than even the incredibly low approval rating than GW Bush. All of that said here’s a great video to shed a little light on the reality of the situation.

Bless your heart sir….

Nicely done Governor!

Now that’s fast!

So unbeknownst to me my wonderful friends at Time Warner Cable have upgraded my cable modem speed. So we have had a 10 meg connection with 1.5 up. Well now we have this:

Hey that my friends is ridiculous. Seriously.

Nothing like the smell of desperation in the evening…

So Sarah was home and got an odd call on our home phone. She said she answered the phone and was greeted by someone with an interesting offer. If we put a “Barrack Obama” sign on our lawn they would install a free security system in our home. Not kidding. Not a joke! Another friend of ours was offered $100 to put an Obama sign in her front yard yesterday. Wow. I mean I bought and paid for my “NoBama” signs so it sounds like Obama does have a plan for economic stimulus, something along the lines of just buying everyone’s vote! I still am in shock….

Nightwish and Sonata Arctica

Well originally I wanted to do a full blown review of the Sonata Arctica and Nightwish show at the Wiltern but if keep waiting to find time to write one they’ll have already been on tour ;) . That said, the show was awesome! Phillip and I had VIP tickets so we got to meet Nightwish! Very cool although bummer we didn’t get much time to talk or hang out but still cool to be able to meet them. Great news was no opening bands to sit through. Sonata was up first and rocked the house, the only complaint was what was up with the short set? They played maybe 8 or 9 songs which was a bummer. Elias is really looking more comfortable on stage he looked very self-conscience the last tour and he seems to have really gelled with the band which is great.

Next up was Nightwish and they were AMAZING. Really I wish I could see them play more than once a year! If you get the chance to see Nightwish please go!

Some Great Obama Gaffes

Shades of Hillary and the “I was running from sniper fire” The man can speak no truth. Oh and while you are at it explain to me how raising taxes on everything and everybody is supposed to stimulate the economy?
