Still feeling under the weather…. but going into work
Still not feeling 100% but sucking it up and going into work. Bleh.
The Magic Castle
Spent last evening at the Magic Castle with various members of the Mackintosh family and my own. Awesome night! One of the most hilarious and best magic tricks I have see was performed by Matt Marcy I won’t go into too much detail but let’s just say it involved a power point presentation and cards. We also saw at least 2 famous faces: Dr. Demento And Neil Patrick Harris All in in all it was a fun night made all the better by sharing it with some quality company.
Moving on up.
Made some code tweaks and looks like I am moving up in the my vanity searching for “Jeremiah Owen” My amazon wish list is no. 1 and TheOwenClan.com is now no. 2. Woot!
Wow this sucks.
For the first time since 2000 I am almost off the top 5 google searches for “Jeremiah Owen”. Not sure what is up. I think maybe they have been tweaking their search algorithm since the other listings are just genealogical listings so this sucks. If you have a site feel free to use my name and link it back here, and help keep me on top. Ironically my ranking has dropped in relation to me posting more on here. Strange.
Am I the kiss of death?
So I first wanted Ron Paul. No chance of him winning. Then Fred Thompson. He dropped out. Then Mitt Romney. Now he dropped out. Ugg. Don’t ask me for lotto numbers. Maybe I will say I want Obama at this point just to test my theory, that I truly am the kiss of death so far when it comes to picking a Presidential candidate. Pretty big bummer McCain is wrong for us on so many issues. It’s back to the old who is the lesser of two evils. Only this time doesn’t seem to be a lesser
Who to vote for?
Well the primary is next week. I am torn. Do I stick with principle, vote Ron Paul and hope he picks up enough delegates to play kingmaker at a potentially brokered convention. Or do pick the lesser of 2 evils and vote Romney? I HATE McCain’s positions on a lot of issues. Namely his sponsorship of last years Illegal Immigration Amnesty bill. McCain is stubborn I don’t believe for a second he will change his position. Even if McCain wins it would take a lot for me to vote for him in the general election. All in all just kind of depressing. I think I will end up voting Romney at this point at least he is on the record as stating we need to lock down the border and kick the people here ILLEGALLY out.
