Metal Gear Solid 4
Lucky enough to pick up a copy yesterday just got into the first 20 minutes or so and all I can say is AWESOME! Production values through the roof. Seriously. GAME OF THE YEAR. Period. Remember when you were a kid and everyone talked about one day you will get to play actual movies? Well my friends this is the closest I have seen to that. Really worth the price of admission for the PS3. Enough with my glowing….. get thee to thy nearest electronics store and equip thyself with thee PS3 + MGS4.
Dodgers’ Game Pictures are up….
You can see the fun times we had… and now I am off to bed…
Vespa Ride
So Aaron and I went for a ride this past Monday. We rode up Bouquet Canyon in Santa Clarita. If it wasn’t like 45 degrees when we went it would have been a perfect day. It was FREAKIN FREEZING! We had breakfast at IHOP then hit the road at about 7:15am After a ride up to the reservoir we went on a search for MarioKart for the Wii (I picked mine up the week before but Aaron wanted to get a copy) and after 2 Walmarts, Target, and Game Rush we were still with no Mario Kart so we called it a day. All in all a lot of fun riding around town. ...
Here she is….
Here’s some first shots of me and the Vespa @ Vespa Thousand Oaks. Went for a nice ride with Aaron yesterday and had a blast! Hopefully get a couple more chances to ride this weekend…
Vroom…Vrooooom
Well I was going to wait until tomorrow to post about it but I was just (thanks Grammar Mike!) too excited. Aaron purchased himself an awesome Vespa LX150. It’s beautiful, black with tan seat. He let me take it for a spin and I was hooked. Since I was about 12 I have always wanted a Vespa, kind of a secret wish. Well being the brother I am I couldn’t let Aaron ride alone… so I bought a Vespa Granturismo 200. It’s silver and a 2007. I get to pick it up tomorrow. Can’t wait! I’ll post up some pictures...
Weekend Fun
My boss was gracious enough to offer me 4 tickets to Saturday’s Angels vs. Mariners (he was unable to attend) so Aaron, Jen, Sarah and myself all got a chance to head down to Angels Stadium. While I am no stranger to Dodger stadium (heck Sarah and I first met there )this was my first Angels game. I have to say I left really impressed at the experience. There really was a focus on the whole experience and really left me wondering why the Dodgers have stagnated in the hospitality and fun area. I could see taking the whole family to Angels game and having a great time. The Dodgers? Well I would only feel comfortable going in large groups of guys who are able to defend themselves. Yeah definitely a rougher experience there. Am I changing my favorite team? No...
