Now that’s fast!
So unbeknownst to me my wonderful friends at Time Warner Cable have upgraded my cable modem speed. So we have had a 10 meg connection with 1.5 up. Well now we have this: Hey that my friends is ridiculous. Seriously.
Nightwish and Sonata Arctica
Well originally I wanted to do a full blown review of the Sonata Arctica and Nightwish show at the Wiltern but if keep waiting to find time to write one they’ll have already been on tour . That said, the show was awesome! Phillip and I had VIP tickets so we got to meet Nightwish! Very cool although bummer we didn’t get much time to talk or hang out but still cool to be able to meet them. Great news was no opening bands to sit through. Sonata was up first and rocked the house, the only complaint was what was up with the short set? They played maybe 8 or 9 songs which was a bummer. Elias is really looking more comfortable on stage he looked very self-conscience the last tour and he seems to have really gelled with the band which is great. Next up was...

Seaworld July 30, 2008
Brynn and I went to Seaworld with Aaron and Jenn. We saw Shamu and actually went on a couple Elmo rides. We had a great time.
The first 1000 miles…
Hit 1000 miles on the Vespa this morning. Very cool indeed hard to believe it’s only been 2 months I feel like I had it forever! On another note Andy and Heather are coming over tonight and the plan is to install some more home automation items and bluetooth in the car. should be fun. I’ll post updates on the whole home automation project soon.
San Diego County Fair
Well, my mom, sister, Sarah, Brynn and I all traveled south and spent the day the day the San Diego County Fair. We had a GREAT time! Brynn ever fearless, wanted to pet every animal she saw and loved yell out “mooooooo!” and point at the cows. It was extremely cute. She went for a pony ride and I enjoyed some of finer foods offered like deep fried Oreos. Seriously. The day culminated with the real reason we came to the fair: The Doodlebops. Brynn loves the Doodlebops and so we got a chance to see them perform live. Yes DeeDee, Rooney, Moe and Bus Driver Bob were all there.
