We saw the plastic surgeon on Saturday and we were given some great news: Brynn no longer needs to wear her helmet! Very exciting that she is now “hat” free. She has been such a great sport about having to wear the helmet and in a strange way it’s weird not seeing her with it [...]

Well it was a beautiful warm evening at our house when I got home so we decided to play outside. Thought I’d post up a shot of Brynn and how great she’s looking. Each day the swelling goes down a little more, her eyes get a little wider and we get closer to seeing how [...]

Hard to believe just 2 weeks ago we were sitting at CHLA waiting to hear how Brynn was doing and how the surgery went. Today we have her 2 week post op appointment with Dr. Krieger, the Neurosurgeon. Hopefully we hear she is doing as well as we think she is. Anyway I’ll post an [...]

Big news of the day! Brynn was able to come home last night! I’ll put up more pictures tonight when I get home.
Swelling is continuing to drop a little each day.
She can now see so that has helped a huge amount!
She slept pretty well last night but woke up about midnight and just sat in [...]

Spoke with Sarah this morning here’s the scoop:Brynn cried all night and seems to be in a fair amount of pain. They are giving her Tylenol. Yeah I was surprised that was all too. They did give her some morphine last night to try and make her more comfortable but most of the comfort will just come [...]
