Brynn

Brynn’s first year here on earth has sure been a rollercoaster ride. For the first several months Sarah was bed ridden due to a blood clot, months later she was improperly diagnosed with Plagiocephaly and had to wear a helmet, and in the fall our house nearly burned down. All in all a banner year. Well as it turns out Brynn’s Plagiocephaly diagnoses was incorrect. Yesterday we went to see a specialist at Children’s hospital in L.A. and she has been diagnosed with Craniosynostosis . This is a much more serious condition and is going to require her to have nuero-surgery in the next month. The operation will involve removing the front of her skull and having a plastic surgeon reshape and replace the affected area of her skull. Needless to say pretty daunting and scary for Sarah and I. It’s hard to swallow having to put her through a major surgery but we know it needs to be done. The good news is she is not exhibiting any of the more serious genetic variations and looks like if the surgery goes well she will be back up and at ‘em soon after. We know God has a plan. We are trusting that His will be done. Please keep us in your prayers as we deal with all of this.

Wow. We are seriously on our knees here, lifting all three of you up in prayer. We will be there next Sabbath, hope to see you there!
