Totally impulse purchase. Bought a new Panasonic TH-50PZ77u. In english? A 50″ Panasonic Plasma. Beautiful set. Viewing angle is incredible and I don’t want to leave my house now….ever… Native 1080p content on it is truly an amazing thing. I popped in Lost Season 3 on Blu-Ray and it’s unreal. Seriously makes it very hard to watch Standard Definition TV. The cool thing is though that even standard def looks awesome. My biggest complaint about my 42″ Samsung DLP was that standard def looked, well horrible. Panasonic apparently has some kind of magic mojo that makes standard def look actually decent. Sure you won’t mistake it for HD but it’s actually watchable now. Can’t wait to just watch stuff on it. Yeah it’s that good.
