Traveling
Sarah and Brynn are currently in North Carolina visiting Sarah’s grandparents and other family out that way. So I am bacheloring it up. Thought it would be more fun than it actually is. House is quiet and kind of lonely but I am getting a lot of stuff done. . I working through ripping my entire DVD collection (300+ DVDs) to my media server for streaming to the living room via the wonderful AppleTV. The beauty of it is that the AppleTV now supports 5.1 surround sound, so, with the right settings I get a great looking movie that I can playback on my AppleTV with 5.1, and my iPhone with 2 channel AAC! Oh and this weekend my buddy Andy (maybe Mike too?) is/are coming over for some recessed lighting installation. Should be good times maybe somebody will even...

The Magic Castle
Spent last evening at the Magic Castle with various members of the Mackintosh family and my own. Awesome night! One of the most hilarious and best magic tricks I have see was performed by Matt Marcy I won’t go into too much detail but let’s just say it involved a power point presentation and cards. We also saw at least 2 famous faces: Dr. Demento And Neil Patrick Harris All in in all it was a fun night made all the better by sharing it with some quality company.
Brynn
Brynn’s first year here on earth has sure been a rollercoaster ride. For the first several months Sarah was bed ridden due to a blood clot, months later she was improperly diagnosed with Plagiocephaly and had to wear a helmet, and in the fall our house nearly burned down. All in all a banner year. Well as it turns out Brynn’s Plagiocephaly diagnoses was incorrect. Yesterday we went to see a specialist at Children’s hospital in L.A. and she has been diagnosed with Craniosynostosis . This is a much more serious condition and is going to require her to have nuero-surgery in the next month. The operation will involve removing the front of her skull and having a plastic surgeon reshape and replace the affected area of her skull. Needless to say...
