Ok so if you are only hearing about it here I apologize we must not be friends on Facebook. I am please to announce that Sarah, Brynn and I will be welcoming in a new Owen baby this October. We are so very excited! Brynn can’t wait to meet her new baby brother or sister and we look forward to doing our part in raising the life God will be entrusting us with. I’ll be updating the site as we go. So far Sarah has been doing great but very tired, morning sickness has not been too bad so that’s a blessing. She is having to take Lovenox shots due to her blood clot she had after Brynn was born so that will be an unpleasantry she will have to endur the length of the pregnancy. Anyway here’s baby Owen’s first portrait:
Well 2010 is here, and I think much of this year will continue with the cloudiness from last year as we head through more anniversaries and holidays without Micah. We continue to cling to our faith as a means to find reason and strength to press on. This will be a year of many milestones, Sarah and I both will leave our 20’s behind and my mom will hit the half century mark. Here’s to a year where hope and God’s promise are the beacon that guides us and year to have the blessings outweigh the tragedy.
Well at long last a long weekend to relax a little and do some fun stuff! On Friday we took Brynn to Troutdale where Brynn caught not 1 but 2 trout! We had a lot of fun as evidenced by this video:
We also got the chance to hang out with some great friends the Mackintosh family and the Somers family at Griffith Park where we all rode the train and the little ones got to ride ponies. All in all a great weekend.
Ok finally updated the rotating pics on the top of the site, the other ones were actually like almost 3 years old!!! Anyway more posts soon. The year has flown by, screamed through Halloween and onward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Been a rough year and the holidays are sure to not be any easier. Miss you Micah.
Well yet again tons and tons of time between updates. Sorry everyone. Not much new going. Brynn is going to be Mariposa for Halloween so she’s been pretty excited about that. I have a new super secret project in the works which I’ll hopefully be able to make an announcement around January. Other than that not a whole lot going on. More new pics and info posting soon. Promise.
Well August has been an incredibly rough month, but there is a highlight as we celebrated Sarah’s 29th birthday. That’s right last year in the 20’s. Scary stuff, if only due to the fact my birthday’s coming up and it’ll be my last year in the 20’s as well.
Summer is progressing, Brynn has been loving swimming and spending time with both sets of grandparents!
Sarah and I spent a wonderful weekend in Vegas and enjoyed each other’s company immensely!
Camping is coming up soon can’t wait to spend a week in the woods!

Wow that went by fast! Today Sarah and I have been married 5 years! Time flies. Just wanted to say I love you Sarah and so happy you decided to lose my car with me on that first date 7 years ago
So a special someone hooked me up with the new Stratovarius album “Polaris” a couple weeks early. All I can say is that it is an awesome album. There’s not a bad track on it favorites thus far would be in no particular order:

The last Stratovarius album (the self titled) was a departure from their metal roots and this brings us back. The album is filled with energy and passion and I can say I can’t wait to meet them in the fall, shake their hands and tell them how much I appreciate the new album. Definitely in heavy rotation on my car rides. Oh and the cover is a beautiful piece of work as well.
